We enjoyed our very brief stay based on the ease of getting to the hotel on the Air Train from the airport and the hotel's great centralized location within walking distance to interesting parts of downtown Vancouver. All of the staff with whom we dealt were helpful, friendly and seemed to enjoy their jobs. The room was very accommodating and comfortable. The view from our room was limited but that wasn't of primary importance to us. I would recommend this hotel and would stay there again.

Great weekend escape
10/01/2009On a quick weekend getaway to vancouver, the metropolitan hotel was a wonderful choice. the location was very convenient, the room was spacious and the staff was friendly and efficient.

Perfect downtown location. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and not shabby, small but not a problem. Ethernet internet access excellent. Hotel's restaurant nice but pricey. Lot's of restaurants and shops within an few blocks as well as the art museum. We would stay in this hotel again.

Unlikely a need for another good review, but for this hotel stay, it'll be worth the time to write. Very clean, good people, comfortable bed and convient. Close to the ship terminal. You really don't need a car, but if you do I have one, I've added some tips for your stay to keep your cost down. Service was on mark. The pool requires a visit as well as the strong jets in the spa. The gym is generously packed with equipment. You have access to many cable channels, not that you will need it. Internet is included. You will need a jack, but they will provide it if you don't have one. I suggest to bring a long one so you can surf from anywhere in the room. There is no Wifi. There is still a lot of construction in the city as they are preparing for the 2010 olympics, but if you are an early riser, you will not have a problem.
