The best hotel in Vancouver. 5-star all the way. The staff is well versed in guest relations and ready to anticipate any and all needs. They are never taken by surprise no matter what request you make. The guestrooms are impeccable, and the restaurant is top notch. Right in the heart of Downtown, and within walking distance of shopping, dining and waterfront activities. Internet Access is available from the room if you bring your laptop and purchase either daily access or 20 minutes increments. Internet may also be accessed from the Business Center computers, which have attached printers.

This is a great place to stay and explore Vancouver. Ideal location, immaculate rooms, friendly helpful staff from the concierge to the maid staff. My paper cup of tea got whisked away while I was talking with the concierge (I said it was immaculate) and after profuse apologies I came back to the room later to find an entire tea service set up in my room. Only complaint was paying for wifi access in the business center.

I would not consider staying anywhere else in Vancouver based on my recent stay at the Sutton Place. Here's why: Comfortable rooms with great views in the very heart of downtown. Walking distance to everything. Very impressed with the service. Staff was available, helpful, knowledgeable and consistently patient and pleasant. Nice restaurant. Good bar. A half dozen excellent restaurants within a block. This is what a first class hotel should be. Honestly I have no complaints.

Firstly let me start with - I loved Vancouver, a truly fabulous city! Now the hotel, Great location! Great pool and Spa to enjoy after a long days adventure. Staff are all really lovely and very helpful, The hotel looks very impressive from the front and the lobby. That is until you are allocated your room.... Well, old is a good description. Bed is lumpy, furniture is chipped and the decor is just hideous! The rooms are in serious need of a facelift. Way overpriced for what you get. I'd say 3* at best. Drinks are really expensive and they also charge $* a day for internet access!!! I just took my laptop to Starbucks over the road for free Wi FI : )
